The optional MCP layer (for AI agent operation) does benefit from a technical user, but the dashboard, reports, and day-to-day workflow are designed for the operator-without-an-IT-department.
Upgrades are prorated and instant - switch from Starter to Pro and you only pay the difference for the remaining days in the cycle.
